1. Who We Are
STR AI Auto-Host ("we," "our," or "the Service") is operated by Nathan Lewis, a sole proprietorship based in
California, USA. The Service provides automated messaging and coordination tools for short-term rental property
managers ("Clients"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with
the Service.

2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of information:
- Client information — Legal name, business address, phone number, email address, and billing details provided when
a Client signs up for the Service.
- Designated recipient information — Names, phone numbers, and roles of individuals (hosts, cleaning staff,
maintenance contacts) whom our Client has designated to receive operational SMS notifications from the Service.
- Property and booking data — Information pulled via authorized API integrations with the Client's property
management system (e.g., Hostaway), cleaning platform (e.g., Turno), or booking channels. This includes property
details, reservation data, guest contact information, and conversation history.
- Message content — Text of SMS notifications we send on the Client's behalf, guest messages we process, and any
related logs for operational and audit purposes.
- Service usage data — Technical logs, API call records, error reports, and similar diagnostic information.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above solely to:
- Operate the Service on behalf of our Clients (classifying guest messages, drafting replies, sending operational
notifications, coordinating with cleaning and maintenance vendors).
- Authenticate with authorized third-party platforms (PMS, cleaning software, review platforms) using credentials
provided by the Client.
- Maintain service quality, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
- Communicate with Clients about service matters.
We do not use personal information for marketing, do not sell data to third parties, and do not share data between
different Clients.
4. SMS and Messaging
- Opt-in. Recipients of SMS notifications are designated in writing by our Clients via the service agreement. Each
recipient is expected to have consented to receive these messages as a condition of their relationship with the
Client.
- Message types. Notifications are operational (guest inquiries requiring host attention, urgent property events,
cleaning prioritization, business-process updates). We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- Message frequency. Varies by Client and activity level. Typically a handful per day; up to several dozen on
high-activity days.
- Opt-out. Recipients may reply STOP to any SMS to immediately opt out of all future messages. Replying HELP
returns our support email address. Opt-out is honored across all message streams for that recipient.
- Carrier charges. Standard message and data rates may apply from the recipient's wireless carrier.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to deliver the Service:
- Service providers — Third parties that help us operate the Service, including Twilio (SMS delivery), Anthropic
(AI model services), cloud infrastructure providers (Hetzner), and other vendors. Each is bound by contractual
confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Authorized integrations — Third-party platforms the Client has authorized us to access (PMS, cleaning platform,
review platforms) receive only the data they need to perform their respective roles.
- Legal obligations — We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
We do not sell personal information.
6. How We Protect Information
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption
in transit, access controls, and separation of Client data. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee
against all forms of compromise.
7. Data Retention
We retain Client data for as long as the Client maintains an active relationship with the Service, plus a
reasonable period thereafter for operational, legal, and audit purposes. On Client request, we will delete or
return data following service termination, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding the information we hold about you, including rights
to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at nate@clockslice.com.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated"
date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
